Blood Diamond was a film of epic scope set during the Sierra Leone civil war in the late 90s. One of my responsibities was to recreate the tribe of Kamajor, an ethnic group of traditional hunters from the Mende group who were known for their distinct look in the war. The use of talisman, herbs and charms amongst the sacred attire they wore made them a formidible sight.
